[/QUOTE] If thats the case and your not skint then go for Intel, the offer the best CPU's by far!
Last time i checked, the X2 6400+ Black or standard editions are both discontinued, your best bet will be a X2 6000+ which is what i use and love it. Of course if your motherboard can handle Phenom CPUs... I don't really have any experience with which Phenom is best, so... sry about that :P
