budget?need help upgrading pc
$150. i cant get anymore since im 14 n have no job
HD4830 would out perform both of those.
The 8800GTS is your best card if you need to stay with $150, it's 8.75 inches long though so you would need to measure inside your case, you know where one end of the card will be right up against the grill, so see if you have 8.75 inches to the other side. The HD4830 is a better card but $30 more so not quite within your budget as you need a PSU as well.. And yes that PSU you choose has enough watts..... also the PSU you picked may not fit into your case either, see if newegg has the dimensions and again measure your case ..
if i can i may can get another 20 bucks n get the 4830. but what bout the 8800GTS with it being thick wouldnt sum of the lil node things prevent it?
Chances are you have a crappy power supply as I don't see it in your link.
the psu in my computer right now is a HIPRO 300W 19amp, the one in my link is the one im wantin to buy antec basiq 550W psu 2 12v rails 18amps each
If your able to without any arguements :) then the 4830 would be a better longer lasting solution..... I don't know if the 8800GTS will fit in your case, it may not.......
