my DVD+RW DL wont auto run disc

Ok this is what is up.

I upgraded my PC from XP to Vista Ultimate. everything work fine. but only this small problem.

every time I put a game or DVD or some kind of software on my DVD+RW DL player the disc wont auto run. The way i make the disc run is by going to '' My Computer'' rigth click and then click ''explore'' .
But some times it wont open up the disc it will just pop up a window that says create new disc and ask if i want to format the disc and burn new data to it.

so then i have to open my disc tray and then close it and then it will read the disc as a disc but it wont auto run.

does anyone knows how to fix this small problem?

Go to Control Panel>Autoplay and select the appropriate action you would like for each type of media.
no that didnt work all it did is it knows what the disc is now.for exsample i pop in Battle Field 2142. before it use to say a disc with 3.5GB now it actually says BattleField 2142 but it does not run it i click on it and it takes me to explorer mode
