I currently live in the UK and my HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop broke for the 3rd time just recently. It would cost more than ?00 to fix it this time according to PC World. The laptop would have become 2 years old this November. What I need is a new laptop. I was very happy with my HP laptop, apart from the fact that it seemingly wasn't very durable. It had a webcam, two microphones, 2 GB of RAM, Windows XP Home Edition, a Gefore Go 7200 videocard and an Intel Core Duo 2.00 Ghz processor (from what I remember).I have been looking around but am having trouble finding a laptop. I am rather reluctant to buy another HP laptop seeing as how the last one failed in terms of reliability. Certain Macbooks have caught my eye but they seem rather pricey for the hardware you get. PC World recommended Dell but they don't seem to have too good of a reputation from what I know. I am rather at a loss.I am willing to spend ?00 and desire the features of my last laptop. Well, a webcam and two microphones really. All the other features should be a bit ancient now. Thanks.HP Disappointed Me
I forgot to mention that the screen should be at least 15'4'' if possible.HP Disappointed Me
I am considering a Dell now. The Studio line looks neat and seems to offer what HP has. I am still open for suggestions, however.
