Nvidia: GT206, GT212, GT216 and GT300
It looks like that Nvidia won't support DirectX 11 until Q4/2009, when he launches the GT300-generation. Look at the newest product-roadmap:

-GT206: Q4/2008, 55nm
-GT212: Q1/2009, 40nm
-GT216: Q2/2009, 40nm
-GT300: Q4/2009, 40nm
Holy balls of raging fire!***News*** Nvidia: GT206, GT212, GT216 a ...
I think I've learned my lesson with the 8800GTS series that I don't want to buy a graphics card 'designed' for a version of DirectX that isn't out yet. Saying it's DX11 compatible doesn't mean it will run well.I hope its cheap though. ATI is looking like a better deal everyday.
Is the GT206 Meant for Q4 2008 the new GTX260 (with increased cores)?

Anyway i reckon my 8800GT will last me until Q2 2009! :D
Dx11 in Q4 2009?:( i cant wait till then!
HELLO HAS KNOW ONE HEARD

DX11 will work on DX10 cards and vista as well as obviosuly DX11 cards and windows 7
If Windows 7 launches next year as planned, DirectX 11 will be here before or very close to the same time as GT300. Not to mention that DirectX 11 isn't a huge API change like DirectX 10 was. It's more like DirectX 7 to 8.
I wonder what the gt206 and gt212 will perform like.
