Yep. you're good.is this a good Psu for 260 gtx ?
I am still a little sketchy on understanding PSU specs so bear with me. What I have done in the past, and it has worked so far, is look for the 12v rail Amp raiting. Watts are not as important these days as they used to be. It's all about Amps when looking at juice for video cards. So take the Amp rating on the 12v rails, which looks like it's 24 on that PSU. I've read that the 260/280 cards need around 38 Amps. However, they use 2 12v rails. So you can actually multiply the Amp rating for each rail by how many you are going to use. 48 Amps with the combined rating.I could be totally wrong, but this has served me well over the last 2 years of building various machines. None of them have died so far so.... yay? I'm using this same method again when I bump up to 260GTX SLI.
