Is their really that big of a difference? Hd 4650 vs 4670
Yes very big! one is just over $200 and the other is over $300.Hd 4650 vs 4670
Yes very big! one is just over $200 and the other is over $300.
Didn't read the post I take it?The HD4650 has lower clockes, which aren't too bad on the core, but the memory is literally half-speed, which cripples the card. The HD4650 has something like half the memory bandwidth of the HD4650, and since it's so close to the HD4670 in price, I don't see the point in getting one for a gaming machine.

I swear to God I read 4850 and 4870?!?!
Well I'm more towards mid range gaming and I need a radeon that doesn't require additional cords from the PSU or a 600 watt. Yes I don't have a crossfire motherboard. So looking at the mid range radeon cards that are much cooler as oppose to a 4800 that gets a lot hotter. I've read their very good for mid range gaming and don't use so much power.
Fair enough, the HD4670 is the ideal choice.
the 4650 is gimped version of the 4670 with lower clocks and using gddr2 vram which really weakens the card. the 4670 is the way to go.
instead of those get a Sapphire 4830
instead of those get a Sapphire 4830
Those require an external PCI-e connector.
