Fraps with no sound?

Hi,i got Fraps and the thing is,there's no sound in my videos.The record sound is on so i don't really know whats the problem.Can anyone help me?I got a 8800Gt KO and an ASUS p5B motherboard that i think has a built in soundcard.Thank for the help!Fraps with no sound?

Even I have fraps but I dont encounter problems like these it works fine in my computer.............

I have the 2.9.4. version full and downloaded the newest free version but that doesn't record the sound either...i'm a bit angry now...
Well,i don't know what i did but i gots sound.But i have to crank the volume to max because it's not very loud,almost crackling...any advice?

Now i got sound!I only needed to set the Record:SoundMAX HD Audio from Microphone(which i dont have)to Stereo Mixer.BUT the sound qulaty is very bad.When high sounds come its starts to crackle like crazy.I tested this on COD4 the coupe level in the prologue and Al Assads speech and the higher music crackles like hell.Is there a way i can tune on this?Specs that might be important:8800Gt KO-ASUS P5B motherboard....

Windows XP Professional 32 bit
Go into sound options and make sure the configuration matches your set up. I recorded a great vid of Far Cry 2 and the audio crackles during explosions. I found out my audio was set to 7.1 for some reason when it should've been 2.1. It's possible that was the problem.
